We Were Never Meant To Be Just A Saree Store.
Studio Mrinalini began in 1999 as a custom design studio founded by my mother. Long before online shopping became the norm, women visited our studio with ideas, inspirations, wedding plans, and special occasions they wanted brought to life.
Over the years, what she built was more than a business. It was a place where women felt understood, welcomed, and cared for.
When I took over in 2023, I knew one thing for certain—I didn't want to change the foundation she had created. I wanted to build on it.
As I travelled, sourced, and explored India's textile landscape, I found myself drawn to sarees that stood apart for their quality, individuality, and beauty. Slowly, Studio Mrinalini evolved into a carefully curated saree destination while continuing to hold on to the values that shaped it from the beginning.
Today, every saree that enters our collection is chosen with the same thoughtfulness that built this studio more than twenty-five years ago.
Some things have changed. Our collection has grown. Our community has expanded. Our vision is bigger. But our purpose remains the same: Helping women find pieces they truly love wearing.
A Note From Me
I grew up watching this business from the corner of a tailoring table. I watched my mother help women choose colours, plan outfits, prepare for celebrations, and navigate countless last-minute occasions.
Years later, when I stepped into the business, I realised the most valuable thing she had built wasn't a store. It was trust.
Everything we do today is built around protecting that trust. Every saree is chosen with care. Every customer is treated with honesty. Every order carries our name. And that's something we never take lightly.
